Bridgecroft House - Spacious family home in the heart of Richmond village - room for the whole family. Home comes with a hot tub, 2 lounge areas, separate dining and kitchen. There is an 8 ball table and some 80's vinyl albums to play. Outdoor has a gas BBQ, wood-fired pizza oven and a huge area with a fire pit and permanent seating for guests and visitors. Parking for up to 6 cars.

Bridgecroft House Located in the heart of the Richmond village, Bridgecroft is a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the town centre. Our family home is situated on almost 2 acres and offers privacy with a quiet country location. With 2 spacious lounges, free wi-fi and Netflix, there is room even for the largest family. We have 4 bedrooms - 3 with queen size beds and 1 with two king singles. Our bathrooms have a separate shower and (one) bath should you need it for small children. Bridgecroft House has a full kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove and electric oven. You are welcome to use food from our pantry during your stay. Our outdoor entertaining area has a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. A separate area has a hot tub heated all year round to 39 degrees. You are welcome to use at no additional charge. Outside we also have a large area with permanent seating and a steel fire pit recycled from a mine on the west coast of Tasmania. There is usually plenty of wood and sticks to keep it going all night or you can bring your own. With quality accommodation for up to eight people, this is the ideal location to base yourself to explore southern Tasmania. We are happy to extend your visit beyond the advertised days, just drop us an email to arrange this. Upgrades and products available upon arrived can be organised.

Other Details to Note

Fire wood for the pizza oven is provided free of charge. Wood for the heater is an additional charge or you can purchase it for the local IGA.

Perfect location just a short stroll from the historic town of Richmond. The house is breaming with character and had every comfort we could dream of - electric blankets, plush, comfy cosy bedding, a coffee machine, fresh bread, jam, vegemite and milk, plus cereals. A pool table, excellent entertainment system, a pot belly fire, two bathrooms and a large kitchen kitted with everything needed including utensils for the BBQ plus sauces and oils for cooking. It was absolutely perfect!! Nothing - couldn't fault anything at all.

This was a very nice rental experience. The house is a large, rambling single story with luxurious fixtures and appointments. The hosts were very thoughtful and supplied many extras and conveniences, such as copious cookware, condiments, delicious bread, milk, and spreads. The coffee setup is first class. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are shiny and new. The house sits on a large property, so you are well apart from the neighbors. There are multiple outdoor and indoor places to relax and talk. We had a lovely comfortable stay.

Was given the wrong code for the lock box and couldn't get into the property when we got there. Property was also advertised to have a sauna, which it didn't.

Fabulous quiet home in Richmond. Very comfortable bedrooms, lovely linen and towels. Everything you could want in the kitchen including a well stocked pantry. The outside spa is a lovely addition, also the wood heater inside on a cool day or night. We cooked great pizza in the wood fired oven for our group of 5. The house was spotlessly clean and plenty of room for all our cars. Great to visit Caledonia winery just up the road and close to Richmond. Highly recommended.
